Wyndham Estate has announced that the first release of its 2007 George Wyndham Shiraz Tempranillo is now available to retailers.

Sourced from Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley fruit, the 2007 George Wyndham Shiraz Tempranillo is a rich, full-bodied wine showing intense berry fruit flavours and a hint of pepper.

Made with 70 percent shiraz fruit and 30 percent tempranillo fruit, Wyndham Estate chief winemaker, Nigel Dolan, used select parcels of wine showing concentrated berry characters with balanced structure and complexity to use in the final blending of the wine.

A good match to tapas, cheese and spicy Asian food, the 2007 George Wyndham Shiraz Tempranillo has already picked up a gold medal at this year’s Sydney International Wine Challenge.
