The next generation of Australia’s First Families of Wine will host consumer tasting event, Unleashed, in Western Australia on 28 August.
Unleashed will be the first consumer tasting event hosted by the ‘Next Genners’ in WA.
The future leaders of Australia’s premium family-owned wine companies will bring together more than 100 trade and consumers at a yet to be announced Perth event space, before making their way through the Margaret River.
On Saturday morning they will explore and enjoy the Margaret River Region and spend time at the Burch Family Wines Estate.
Details of the trip are yet to be finalised but the group promise to show the Margaret River region a great time.
The AFFW Next Gen trip will follow directly after Unlocked on Thursday 27 August, a 250 plus consumer tasting event that has had success through Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and more recently, internationally through North America and Canada.
Founded in 2009, the AFFW group came together to raise the profile and provenance of quality Australian wine, at home and around the world. It has since launched in the UK in 2010, Canada in 2011, China in 2013 and North America this year.
