The NLG Hotel Group will unite its New South Wales and Queensland venues to raise money for those affected by the Queensland floods.

Throughout the month of January, all 36 venues across NSW and QLD will host fundraising barbecues amongst other localised fundraising initiatives.

Many of NLG’s Queensland venues have felt the affects of the floods with some suppliers unable to meet normal supply order requirements.

“NLG has a steadfast focus on the support of their local communities and at this time, it is pertinent that we do what we can to assist those in need,” commented NLG Hotel Group general manager, Daniel Brady.

“There is a growing number of Australians that have been affected by the floods and everyday the complex rebuilding processes becomes more apparent.

We hope to unite as many of our customers as possible at their local NLG venue throughout January, as their support will help make a difference.”

Patrons are encouraged to visit their local NLG venue website for details.

For those unable to attend their local fundraiser barbecue, each venue will keep a donation bucket at the bar until the end of January for anyone who wishes to make a donation.

All funds raised throughout the month of January will go directly to the Queensland Flood Relief Appeal.
