Nominations are now open for the 2016 LSA Retail Liquor Industry Awards for Excellence, which acknowledge superior customer service, product knowledge and outstanding professionalism.
The Awards, which are free for retailer members to nominate in, give the LSA’s member and stakeholders the opportunity to be recognised for their hard work. There is a range of awards handed out across retailer and supplier categories.
Speaking about the awards, the LSA NSW's executive director, Michael Waters, told TheShout: "LSA is delighted to be able to run this important annual Awards Program as it gives our members and stakeholders – retailers, suppliers and their staff and representatives a chance to be recognised for their hard work, with awards bestowed across a broad range of retailer and supplier categories.
"Members will see some changes to the Awards Program this year, which has come about following ongoing feedback and extensive consultation with members and stakeholders.
"I encourage all members to support this year’s Awards Program, and in particular the Awards Presentation Dinner, which is LSA's final and biggest networking event of the year. On behalf of the LSA board and staff, we look forward to receiving your nominations, and wish our members the very best of luck in the Awards."
Nominations are now open and will close on 31 August. Any retailer members who nominate will be ‘mystery shopped’ and will receive a copy of the report. The mystery shopping and judging for the awards takes place between 1 September and 31 October, with the winners being named at the presentation dinner, which this year will take place at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on Friday, 18 November.
Anyone wishing to nominate for this year’s awards can do so via the LSA's website.
