Position: Better Beer Trade Marketing Manager

Reports To: Better Beer Marketing Director

Mid Level. 4 years experience in a similar role 

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the marketing strategy across Retail and the On Premise in Australia. The role requires end to end management for projects across both channels that will attract both new and existing consumers. This new position in the marketing team requires a strong drive for success, autonomy and ample experience working within the beer industry.

Responsibilities

  • Development of marketing activation strategy for retail and the on premise (key accounts, strategic precincts, groups, independents)
  • Working closely with the sales team to support the execution of seasonal marketing campaigns
  • Supporting the Brand Ambassadors with the appropriate tools and POS to maximise presence and create disruptive displays in trade
  • Manage POS kits for BAs, ensuring they all have ample POS on hand at all times
  • Competitior research 
  • Budget management & post campaign reporting
  • Communicate key announcements / achievements with the BAs and Sales teams i.e. Fastest selling beer brand in the country, x amount of distribution points across all stores to assure BAs can achieve more at store level

Skills & Experience Required

  • 4+ years of experience in Trade Marketing
  • Experience working in the beer industry
  • Solid understanding of the retail and on premise landscape in Australia
  • Strong project management experience and an attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic
  • Slick presentation skills (i.e. Google Slides) with an attention to detail
