Snapshots of general alcohol-related issues in NSW local government areas (LGA) have been prepared and posted on the NSW OLGR website as required by new liquor laws.

The series of social profile reports is expected to assist the Casino, Liquor and Gaming Control Authority when considering liquor licensing applications.

Residents, community groups and other stakeholders will also benefit from the reports when responding to liquor licensing proposals.

The reports provide data regarding demographics, transport, police-reported crime and health, along with information on licensed premises.

The LGA reports will be progressively released throughout February and March.
