Sydney trade members will be able to sample wines from 12 of New Zealand’s finest winemakers next week in a showcase of the country’s unique growing regions.

Family 12 is a family-oriented association of premium New Zealand winemakers formed to promote the unique producers and take their wines to the rest of the world.

The wineries involved are Kumeu River, Villa Maria, Millton Vineyard, Craggy Range, Ata Rangi, Palliser Estate, Neudorf, Nautilus Estate, Fromm Winery, Lawson’s Dry Hills, Pegasus Bay and Felton Road. Their philosophy is based on striving for perfection and greatness, and matching it on the world stage.

The Family of 12 wine tasting will take place next Wednesday (August 6) in the Circular Quay Terrace at the Museum of Contemporary Art in The Rocks, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Entry comes with a free Spiegelau Tasting glass and also up for grabs is a trip around New Zealand, which will be won as a door prize on the day.
