In an off-market transaction taking place last week, former Qantas CEO Geoff Dixon has acquired Glebe’s Nag’s Head from the O’Hara family.

Handled by Ray White and Manenti Quinlan, Dixon paid more than $5 million for the inner city property and has plans for a major renovation in keeping with its Old English theme.

The purchase of the 150 year old pub is in line with his purchase of the Blues Point Hotel last year. The Dixon family paid more than $6 million for the McMahons Point venue which dates back to 1864.
