A new malt whisky liqueur has been released Scotland's Old Pulteney distillery and is now available nationwide, distributed by island2island Beverage Company.

With a RRP of $50 per bottle, the new malt whisky liqueur- Stroma is available throughout Australia both on and off premise.

The Old Pulteney distillery located in Wick, a town in the far north-east of Scotland, hopes the new liqueur will showcase their unique part of the world, “The extreme location and unique stills have resulted in a distinctive flavour, bursting with the power and subtlety of the sea.”

The liqueur’s name is derived from the Norse meaning Island in the stream, referring to the windy, dangerous seas of northern Scotland.

The Stroma liqueur is a blend of light and vigorous malt whiskies from the award winning Old Pulteney whisky collection.

The malt whisky liqueur possesses a sweet, smooth and warming flavour said to resemble the islands and boasts sharp and full bodied undertones. Stroma is said to appeal to the “discerning drinker” and best served either straight or over ice.

Stroma Liqueur is packaged in a classic and unique shaped proprietary 500ml bottle.
