On and off-premise trade experienced an exclusive tasting of Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky in Sydney yesterday.

The tasting kicked off with a run around the harbour on the Old Pulteney clipper, which is currently in Sydney ahead of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and competing in the Clipper Round the World race.

Hosted by distributor island2island Beverage Company at The Keystone Group’s latest venue, Rushcutters, trade sampled a flight of Old Pulteney’s 12 year old, 17 year old, 21 year old and 30 year old.

Hailing from the seaside town of Wick, Old Pulteney is one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland and is known as the ‘maritime malt’ with the whiskies showing slightly salty notes.
