Paramount Liquor has announced it will be launching a state of the art marketplace, which will expand its capabilities in premium wine and craft beer, and establish Paramount as a one-stop-shop for all purchasing needs.

Paramount Marketplace will connect suppliers of all sizes to Paramount’s network of 10,000 active customers and will also integrate into Shopify and Adobe Commerce allowing the many craft breweries, wineries and distilleries who already use the platform to manage their orders in a direct, efficient manner.

For customers, the Marketplace will give them access to a wide range of the best independent, craft and small-scale producers, broadening in particular, Paramount’s craft beer and wine offerings.

Paramount CEO, Nathan Rowe said: “We’re really excited to be extending our range through strategic partnerships with both well-known and up and coming suppliers, specifically across our wine and beer categories. We know this is going to mean more choice and an even better experience through one platform for our customers.

“Our marketplace will provide access to over 10,000 customers nationally, providing unrivalled reach for suppliers.

“We know the current market is challenging, especially for suppliers, which is why our Marketplace will be of significant benefit to them. Not only will it enable opportunities for new revenue streams, it will provide financial stability so sellers can concentrate more on growing their business.”

Distribution of products purchased on marketplace will be handled by the supplier, but will be underpinned by Paramount’s service, control and transparency and Marketplace purchases will also accrue Evolution Rewards points.

Paramount has partnered with Mirakl on the Marketplace project and GM APAC and Global Delivery, Tzipi Avioz said: “Paramount will be delivering a first-class marketplace experience for both customers and suppliers, connecting all players in the drinks industry under one, convenient roof.

“The vision & execution for the marketplace shows a deep understanding of what the market needs: more selection, a simple experience, and the flexibility to respond to new demand. We’re pleased to support Paramount on this transformational journey.”

Marketplace will launch in May and Paramount has a target of adding 600 suppliers and 7500 products to its range by 2025, with a particular focus on the wine and craft beer portfolios for the first 12 months.
