Patrón Tequila is releasing a Silver Australiana Collector's tin for the first time in this market.
Available from October in leading liquor stores nationwide the tin features key Australian landmarks and scenery as portrayed by Australian artist Lara Allport.
Patrón Tequila’s Asia Pacific Vice President, Vicente Santos, comments, “We are excited to execute the Australiana limited edition collector’s tin in collaboration with such an accomplished local Australian artist.
“Australians understand and appreciate high-quality sophisticated spirits, which has propelled Australia to become one our fastest growing markets in the world. We are enormously proud to continue to invest in innovation and bespoke localised packaging here in Australia."
Allport's designs include Sydney's Bondi Beach, Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Melbourne’s Flinders Station and trams, and the Australian Outback.
She said: "The illustrations are representative of quality, occasion, celebration and both man-made and natural beauty – which seemed fitting with the Patrón brand. Patrón products and their aesthetics are refined, high-end, artisanal, and elegant, so I knew that the illustrations I delivered needed to match."
The tin contains Patrón's Silver Tequila and joins an exclusive group of other collectables released in select markets including London and Mexico, as well as for Chinese New Year celebrations.
