Pernod Ricard Australia has revealed its new Marketing Director, who will replace Anne Martin after she transferred to Canada.

Eric Thomson has made the move to Sydney from the US where he was the Vice President of Global Marketing US Brands for Pernod Ricard Winemakers for three years.

Speaking about his new role, Thomson said “Australia is a key market for the Pernod Ricard business globally, and I’m excited to start my next Pernod journey as Marketing Director. The Australian market provides a huge amount of opportunity, particularly when it comes to innovation, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to maximise the presence of our brands and provide unique experiences that meet the needs of Australian consumers.”

Thomson will bring his strong marketing and commercial experience to the Australian leadership team and will the marketing team across the portfolio for brands such as Jacob’s Creek, St Hugo, Brancott Estate, Stoneleigh, Jameson, Absolut, Mumm, Perrier Jouët, to maximise the reach of the portfolio within the Australian market.

He replaces Anne Martin, who has transferred to Canada to become the Vice President of Marketing for Corby Spirit and Wine Limited, a leading Canadian manufacturer, marketer and distributor of spirits and imported wine.
