Pernod Ricard Pacific and Pernod Ricard Winemakers have each welcomed new additions to their executive teams, with appointments from within the Pernod Ricard Group.
The recent appointments include Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Pacific, Bryan Fry (left), and Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Bruno Rain.
Fry, whose appointment was reported by TheShout in February, has now joined the Pernod Ricard Pacific team, following his move from the US. Fry, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from the University of New England, has moved from his role as President and CEO of Pernod Ricard USA where he has been since September 2012. He joined Orlando Wyndham Group in February 1995 and was appointed National Agribusiness Manager in 1998 and Regional Manager Asia/Pacific for Orlando Wyndham in 2000. Fry was appointed Marketing Manager, Wyndham Estate in May 2004, and in February 2006 he was appointed Vice President Marketing Pernod Ricard Asia, before becoming President and CEO of Pernod Ricard Brazil in July 2009.
He replaces Julien Hémard who has relocated to New York to take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer, Spirits, for Pernod Ricard USA.
In a statement about his appointment Pernod Ricard said: "In his role as Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Pacific, Bryan will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the distribution side of the wines and spirits business across Australia and New Zealand."
Fry is joined by Rain (right), who has moved to Australia from Pernod Ricard’s headquarters in Paris, where he most recently held the position of Managing Director of HR and CSR.
Rain has worked for Pernod Ricard for 29 years, having started his career with Pernod Ricard as an Internal Auditor in 1987. Since then, he has held roles as CFO of Pernod Ricard Headquarters, as well as CEO for Pernod Ricard in Argentina and Spain.
Pernod Ricard said: "In his role as CEO and Chairman of Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Bruno will continue to drive the success of the business’ premium quality wines globally, including Jacob’s Creek in Australia, Brancott Estate in New Zealand, Campo Viejo in Spain and Kenwood Vineyards in the USA."
Rain replaces Jean-Christophe Coutures who has relocated to Ireland to take the role of Chairman and CEO for Irish Distillers.
