High-end Sydney venue the Piano Room will tonight launch a new ‘singers and songwriters’ night that will see undiscovered talent compete for a professional recording contact.

Tonight’s invitation-only cocktail party will see the cream of Sydney’s music, media and entertainment industry seated lounge-style while four artists compete for a spot in a finale to be held on July 23.

The winner will spend a week in a recording studio with Grammy award-winning producer Stevie White, a.k.a. Supe, who counts Lionel Ritchie and Puff Daddy among his clients. Their final work will be showcased on July 30.

Piano Room has invested substantial funds in the project, including a three-day media junket coinciding with Supe’s arrival in Australia in July.
