Pineapple cider ‘uniquely Australian’

Quality Beverages has released the Bear Essentials Pineapple Cider, which it has described as a "uniquely Australian product".

The cider comes in 275ml bottles and has an eight per cent ABV and Michael Fennell from Quality Beverages highlighted that this is not just a pineapple flavoured cider.

He told TheShout: "This is fully Australian made and owned and we source our pineapples from the finest pineapples that Queensland farmers can produce.

"These Australian pineapples produce a smooth sweet tropical, pineapple cider, just the thing for those warm summer days and nights."

The cider is made from fermented pineapples and Fennell emphasises that the drink is made purely from pineapples "and nothing else".

He added: "It is fully natural with no preservatives, no added cane sugar and no added sulfites. Our cider has been fully pasteurised, rather than using chemicals. All the sweetness, in our Pineapple Cider comes from the pineapples."

Bear Essentials Pineapple Cider has an RRP of $60 for a case and $14 for a four-pack; it is available through ALM and ILG, as well as direct from Quality Beverages.
