Mount Druitt Police have charged a man with multiple offences after a hotel manager was glassed and two police assaulted in Sydney’s west.

The attack is alleged to have occurred at the Richmond Road hotel in Plumpton at about 8.30pm on Saturday night (Jan 16) after a patron was refused service.

The 34-year-old manager – who has not been named – suffered lacerations to the left side of his scalp and face and was treated at Mt Druitt Hospital.

A security guard who came to his aid was also allegedly assaulted with a bar stool.

Police went to a home in Kenneth Crescent, Dean Park, a short time later and arrested a 35-year-old man.

During the arrest police will allege the man kicked one officer in the face while a second was kicked to the head and shoulder.

The man was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with 10 offences.

The man, from St Marys, was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court later today (Jan 18).

One officer was treated at Mt Druitt Hospital for swelling and bruising to his face, while the second officer is being treated for concussion.
