Craft beer specialty pub, The Local Taphouse will put 20 of Italy's best craft beers on tap at both its Sydney and Melbourne venues this weekend.
The SpecTAPular Italiano beer festival will showcase craft beers from the likes of Birra Del Borgo, Birricicio Troll, Brew Fist, Croce di Malto, Extraomnes, San Paolo Birrificio and Scarampola breweries.
Organiser Steve Jeffares told TheShout that 17 of the beers have never been available in Australia before.
He said the beer styles on show will include Italian pale ale, honey ale, tobacco porter, milk chocolate stout, barley wine, imperial red ale and kolsch.
There will be entertainment and Italian food available and bocce games will be played on the new indoor court. Entry is gold coin with 100 per cent of all door proceeds donated to charity.
