The Newport Arms Hotel in Sydney’s north is aiming to have raised over one million dollars for the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia (CCIA), when it hosts its ‘Million Dollar Milestone Dinner’ next month.

The Hotel has raised over $900,000 for the charity over the past six years, and the hotel hopes the ‘Million Dollar Milestone Dinner’ will see them reach the magic number.

“We are excited to break this million dollar fundraising mark with the help of our customers and suppliers at The Newport Arms Hotel,” said Bayfield Hotel Group director, Wayne Bayfield.

“The monies from these efforts have gone to the ‘10 out of 10 appeal’ for the CCIA to help them cure more kids from cancer. The CCIA truly believe they can cure ‘10 out of 10’ kids and we are excited to help them on this journey.”

The dinner, to be held on September 12, includes a seven-course degustation and all drinks, with Wallaby legend Phil Kearns as guest speaker. Tickets are $135, with all proceeds going to charity.
