Market-leading poultry supplier Inghams Enterprises has capped a big year in foodservice with no less than three ‘Supplier of the Year’ awards from major organisations.

The Foodservice Suppliers Association of Australia (FSAA), NAFDA, and Country Food all awarded Inghams their top honour in recognition of the company’s outstanding performance in business in 2012.

The awards were largely determined by foodservice distributor groups, based on criteria such as communication, business cooperation, staff professionalism, administration and marketing support.

Group sales manager, Tom Dean, told TheShout that the company’s philosophy is to treat foodservice operators such as hotels as valued partners that are an essential part of the supply chain.

"We are constantly attending end user sites, discussing ways to value-add through menu development – showing how to get more 'bang for their buck'.

"Pubs form a large part of our product development, as they are always looking for new trends and new ways to add value to their offer.

"Ingham offer a strong and reliable brand within this market."

Dean added that the awards were also an acknowledgment of all the hard work, commitment to excellence, and ongoing dedication of Inghams’ staff and workers.
