Angostura Bitters has teamed with one of the country’s leading entertainment providers to bring a new trivia production to pubs across Australia. 

Hotel industry suppliers island2island – distributors of Angostura bitters and rum – have partnered with Full House Group (FHG) – national operators of in-venue gaming and poker nights – for ‘InnQuizitive’. 

Angostura Bitters will give the events a new look and feel, with its distinctive branding, promotions and interesting content. With over 90 million serves of lemon, lime and bitters consumed in Australia each year, Angostura prizes its relationship with hotels and brand manager Auriane Bourdin says the summer-based activity is largely about helping to drive sales on-premise. 

“Lemon, lime & bitters is one of the most profitable drinks a venue can serve.” 

InnQuizitive, which is designed to enable venues to host events easily, has been running successfully in pubs for seven years, and FHG director of trivia Noel Stowers says teams come back again and again to compete. 

“Patrons also tend to stay longer, they dine on-premise and they spend more. The partnership with Angostura will allow us to do more for venues and to support them in building their customer database.”
