Fresh from its launch last month (November), Foster's new low-carb wheat beer, Pure Blonde White Lager, has announced that it will now be available on-tap.

From mid-December, more than 200 venues nationally will feature the beer, with more expected in early 2011.

The first of its kind in Australia, in terms of adapting the wheat beer style to meet the lower carb beer requirements, the beer has already enjoyed a positive reaction in the market.

Pure Blonde group marketing manager Richard Oppy said that he was thrilled with the beer’s success so far.

“It’s exceeded all our sales expectations,” he said. “So making it available on tap is the natural next step for the brand.”

Typical of traditional wheat beers, Pure Blonde White Lager has translucent golden colour, with a creamy white head and cloudy appearance when poured.

Pure Blonde White Lager is available on tap in selected venues nationally and in 355ml bottle in all States and Territories except Queensland.
