Red Island Brewing Company has scheduled in another small batch beer for later in the year after a pleasing reaction to the Quiet Deeds Vanilla Porter.

The Quiet Deeds permanent range comprises a Pale Ale, IPA and Kolsch. The Vanilla Porter released this month represented the label's first foray into limited edition beers.

“Given that we had a few sessionable beers under our belts, we wanted to be a bit more adventurous with the next brew. So we said, why not produce a small batch that reflected our love of Porters?” said co-founder Patrick Ale.

Quiet Deeds Limited Edition Vanilla Porter is available in 50-litre kegs and 500ml bottles in select Coles stores nationally as well as craft-oriented independents and select bars.

"Given the success of the Vanilla Porter we are planning to release a summer limited edition at the tail end of this year," Red Island marketing manager Carolina Ale told TheShout.
