Sydney agent Property Partnership Australia (PPA) is expecting strong demand for a hotelier's licence currently being offered for sale with 13 gaming machine entitlements.

The licence also includes a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) for 23 gaming machines, which PPA sales and leasing executive Craig Hibbard told TheShout is "extremely rare" in the City of Sydney.

He said the licence could be reactivated almost anywhere in the City without the scrutiny of having to do a new SIA as required under NSW gaming laws.

As well as appealing to existing hoteliers, Hibbard said the licence could provide value to a number of new developments in the city and fringe.

Hibbard pointed to the recent $1.3 million sale of the licence at Sydney's Trumps Tavern – which had entitlements for 15 machines – as a benchmark.
