The Rockpool Dining Group (RDG), formerly Urban Purveyor Group, has extended the range of craft beers available in its venues with the launch of a summer session craft lager, Sweet Caroline.
The new lager is the latest to come from the Urban Craft Brewing Co. RDG’s craft brewing arm and is now available across its Bavarian Bier Café venues across Australia.
The beer is described as “a subtly sweet, mildly bitter, full-bodied brew, complemented by a fruity aroma that is delivered by Noble hops”.
It is a four per cent ABV beer, with 20 IBUs and is also brewed using Australian Pale malt.
The Urban Craft Brewing Co. launched in January 2016 with four beers, and that has now extended to 12 core beers, a further two seasonal beers – of which this lager is one – plus a cider.
The Sweet Caroline was officially launched on Friday and is available at Bavarian Bier Cafés during the summer months.
