A game-changing, patent-pending, ready-to-serve (RTS) cocktail shaker designed by Allied Beverages has launched a crowdfunding campaign, to help super-charge its mission to innovate the RTS category.

The cocktail shaker, which consumers simply add ice to, shake and pour, has been a labour of love for Allied Beverages’ Co-Founder and CEO Mark Dorrell.

Dorrell and the Allied Beverages team saw an opportunity to develop technology to ensure RTD pre-batched cocktails are served in a vessel that enables liquid to be agitated with ice and strained within the vessel, achieving a bar quality cocktail. The result is The Sydney Shaker, which the team claims is the world’s first ready-to-drink cocktail shaker in a can.

The innovation is the first of its kind and Allied Beverages are inviting trade and consumers alike the opportunity to invest via its Equitise Crowd Sourced Funding campaign, which opened yesterday and has already raised over $120,000.

Dorrell said: “We have had over 800 expressions of interests lodged with many of them being industry stakeholders.

“BLVD lends itself to retail promotion where consumers love affordable innovation that delivers quality and convenience.”

BLVD plans to license its unique shaker technology to other beverage producers, opening up additional revenue streams with international potential reinforcing its competitive advantage.

The crowdfunding campaign will help BLVD in its aim to launch a range of carefully crafted cocktails, which will help consumers enjoy an easy and delicious cocktail at home.
