Liquor Marketing Group (LMG) has confirmed that managing director Sean Hogan will leave the business at the end of next week.

After more than seven years of service, Hogan has decided to pursue external opportunities, LMG CEO Doug Misener said in a statement.

"Sean has made an exceptional contribution to the health of the overall LMG business during his tenure," Misener said.

"He has recruited and developed quality personnel nationwide, substantially improved the overall marketing effort in terms of impact and professionalism, and he has established an extensive number of close working relationships throughout both our supplier and member networks."

"Sean's extensive liquor sector expertise, his approachable style, and deep passion to see independent liquor retailers succeed, will be sorely missed."
