The Main Event channel is offering Aussie Sam Soliman’s boxing world title fight this Sunday at no extra charge to Fox Sports Venues subscribers.

And in a two-punch combination, Main Event is also replaying the world title fight between Carl Froch and George Groves for no extra charge on the same day.

Soliman will challenge German Felix Sturm for his IBF Middleweight belt at approximately 7.00am (AEST) this Sunday, with undercard bouts starting at 3.30am. There will be a full replay of the fight from 6.00pm. The Froch v Groves IBF and WBA Super Middleweight title fight is replayed at 12.00pm, also on Sunday.

Soliman lost to Sturm back in February and this bout is seen as his chance for revenge as well as the world title.

The entire fight card will be available at no extra charge to Fox Sports Venues subscribers on Main Event which can be found on high definition channel 248 or standard definition channel 518

Fox Sports’ Pay-Per-View manager Japhy Duldig said this was a great opportunity for all venues to get a taste of how Pay-Per-View events can drive Sunday trade but at no extra cost.

“Australian’s are a parochial bunch and they will want to see whether Sam can beat Felix and bring home the IBF Middleweight belt,” Duldig said.

“Venues can choose to show the fight live at 7.00am or the replay at 6.00pm.

“We recommend that venues market this Sunday as a big sports day with the Froch v Groves fight replayed at midday and afternoon footy as well."
