An Australian owned tequila that is sourced from one of Mexico's most respected agave farms will be available here next month.

The producers are hoping that Sesión, which means "session" in Spanish, will encourage consumers to engage in a new tequila experience and move on from a shot.

Made using a small batch process and following traditional methods, Sesión is a 100 per cent blue agave tequila.

Sesión is sourced from Tierra de Agaves, located on the outskirts of Tequila Village in Jalisco, Mexico and home to agave fields that are as old as tequila itself. The distillery is owned and operated by the Beckmann family; the oldest dynasty of tequila producers, with over eight generations of agave farming and distilling experience and a commitment to producing a quality and authentic product.

The brand will be eoncouraging a different tequila experience in Australia, educating consumers in enjoying the drink in a cocktail or as a sipping drink over ice and lime.

Sesión will be available for a three week exclusive sale through Qantas epiQure from 7 October, with three distinct flavours: Reposado, Blanco and Mocha. It will then launch nationwide in Australia, Asia and the US on 28 October 2015.
