Service Skills Australia is currently accepting nominations for the 2012 Service Skills Australia Excellence Awards, to be held at a dinner on 27 February, 2012 as part of their national conference at the Sofitel Brisbane.

The awards recognise individual trainers, registered training organisations and employers who are setting high standards in the delivery of quality skills training and workplace learning.

Nominations can be made via the Service Skills Australia website until Friday 2 December.

The ‘Trainer Excellence’ award recognises individual trainers and assessors who strive for excellence, best practice and innovation in the delivery of nationally recognised training.

The Industry Collaboration/Partnership award recognises registered training organisations and businesses that have formed innovative partnerships to develop programs and strategies that meet the needs of the service industries.

The awards provide a unique opportunity to showcase the achievements of individuals and organisations, and a chance to share success stories and be recognised in training and workforce development.
