The location for Thursday night’s exclusive Smirnoff Secret Experience Party in Sydney has been kept tightly under wraps.

Invited guests have only been told that it will be held within 2.5km of Taylor Square, with the exact location to be revealed via text message sometime tomorrow.

Last year partygoers were blindfolded and transported on blacked-out buses to a mystery location, revealed to be a warehouse in the Australian Technology Park containing secret rooms, performance artists and top DJs.

A spokesperson for Smirnoff would only reveal that this year, “guests will be taken on an interactive journey from Moscow to New York via Paris, echoing the evolution and revolution of Smirnoff’s rich history”.

Tickets were not available for purchase. Some were given away to members of the public who visited a website and solved a series of obscure hints to find double passes hidden around their cities.

The Smirnoff Secret Experience Party will be repeated in mystery locations in Melbourne on Friday followed by Brisbane on Sunday.
