Wynns Coonawarra senior winemaker Sue Hodder and winemaker Luke Skeer previewed the latest release Wynns wines in Sydney yesterday (July 21) ahead of Wynnsday next month.

Media gathered at Café Sydney for their introduction to the new wines as the trade gears up for Wynnsday, to be held on Wednesday August 3.

With a strong range of wines, the new vintage release will include the 20th vintage of the iconic John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon, while The Michael Shiraz is also back.

Both flagship wines are iconic to Coonawarra and are only released in years of exceptional quality.

A new addition to the portfolio is a more approachable ‘drink now’ Cabernet, 'The Siding'.

The 2010 Siding Cabernet Sauvignon fills an important price point within the Wynns portolio of wines retailing at around $22
