Popular bourbon liqueur Southern Comfort has launched a new cinema advertising campaign entitled ‘What is Southern Comfort?’.

The campaign, which will provide insight into the sprit-based liqueur’s heritage, will be screened in Moonlight Cinemas nationally.

“This TVC represents the come-one, come-all attitude that is the soul of New Orleans,” said Liz Woodward, senior brand manager, Southern Comfort. “The city’s melting-pot of cultures runs parallel to Southern Comfort’s versatility and popularity behind the bar. The spirit has the ability to adapt to almost any drinking occasion.”

The campaign will be supported by a ‘Soul Time’ promotional platform at New Orleans-themed events at the Melbourne and Sydney Moonlight Cinemas.

The platform will focus on a New Orleans summer and will feature unique New Orleans-inspired gift-sleeves and specially created Southern Comfort frozen cocktails.

The Southern Comfort range also includes Southern Comfort Reserve, a premium sprirt blended with a six year old bourbon.
