The top four finalists have been named for each of the categories in the 2015 Spirited Awards, with Australian bars in the running for three awards.

The Baxter Inn in Sydney is nominated for a Spirited Award

The Black Pearl in Melbourne has been named as a top four finalist in two categories. The bar will take on Singapore's 28 Hong Kong Street, American Bar at the Savoy Hotel in London and Le Lion Bar de Paris in Hamburg for the Best International Bar Team award.

The Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar award also sees a nomination for The Black Pearl, as well as fellow Melbourne bar, Eau de Vie. The two will take on London pair Callooh Callay and Trailer Happiness in that category.

The final Australian nomination goes to The Baxter Inn in Sydney, which is the only non-American bar to be nominated in the World's Best Spirits Selection category. The Baxter Inn will take on Canon from Seattle, Multnomah Whiskey Library from Portland and San Francisco's Tommy's Mexican Restaurant.

The winners will be named on Saturday 18 July, at the awards ceremony, which is taking place in Havana, Cuba.
