Spirits Platform the premium spirits, marketing and distribution company, established in the wake of the Beam and Suntory merger, has added the Bruichladdich Distillery to its portfolio.

From 1 April 2016, the distillery’s Australian offering of Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore single malt whiskies plus The Botanist super-premium gin will be part of the Spirits Platform’s stable.

Remy Cointreau regional managing director, Mungo Gilchrist, said: “The Bruichladdich single malts and The Botanist gin have been in the vanguard of the craft spirits movement in Australia since being launched here through SouthTrade International in 2012.

“I would like to thank SouthTrade warmly for the creativity and passion they have shown in developing the brands thus far. We look forward to building on this solid foundation with Spirits Platform in the years to come”.

Ian Atherton, CEO at Spirits Platform is understandably delighted to welcome Bruichladdich and The Botanist to the company’s portfolio of premium spirits.

“Bruichladdich is a true innovator in distilling and represents the best in artisanal craft,” Atherton said. “The Bruichladdich whiskies, as well as The Botanist gin, is a perfect fit for Spirits Platform and we look forward to nurturing them in Australia, as we continue to develop awareness with both consumers and trade.”
