St Arnou has distinguished itself as the only liquor brand to have won gold at this year’s Australian Packaging Awards, held in Melbourne last week.

St Arnou won the Carter Holt Harvey Beverage Packaging Award (CHHBPA) for branding and packaging.

Judges noted the unique and functional bottle shape as well as the clean graphics of the premium beer brand.

The six-pack sleeve was also commended for its fully branded face on the front and back and at both ends — a common issue for display products.

St Arnou national sales manager, packaged beer, Nick Allardice, said he was thrilled with the result.

“St Arnou has always strived to achieve innovation and excellence, not only in the way we package our product, but in the way we service our customers. So to receive such an award is truly rewarding for the whole team,” he said.

Also acknowledged for excellence in packaging was Plymouth Sloe Gin and Navy Strength Gin, which won silver in its category.
