The highly anticipated restaurant and bar — Sean’s Kitchen — has opened its doors in Sydney’s Star City.

Star City has invested $6 million into the creation of Sean’s Kitchen, which is run by Sean Connolly, head chef at Star City’s premier restaurant, Astral.

"The opening of Sean’s Kitchen represents the first major step in our plan to develop Star City into one of Australia’s most coveted dining destinations," said Star City general manager of hotel, food and beverage, Richard Munro.

"Astral is already well-established as one of Sydney’s top fine dining restaurants [and] Sean’s Kitchen will now offer our patrons another world-class dining option."

Sean’s Kitchen will feature four unique "touch points"  — the Tapas Bar, Open Kitchen, Ocean Shelf and Engine Room — where patrons can choose from different menus.

Julian Serna, ex-Foveaux Restaurant and Bar, has taken up the role as resident mixologist.
