After eight months of brewing beer for its home market in northern NSW, Byron Bay-based brewer Stone & Wood is now rolling out Pale Lager brew to the rest of Australia.

To help service the demand Stone & Wood has entered into a distribution agreement with Little Creatures Brewing that will see Little Creatures distribute Stone & Wood’s products in the Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Stone & Wood will continue to service the Northern NSW and South-East Queensland region.

Stone & Wood brewer, Brad Rogers, said that the wider distribution is in response to increasing consumer demand.

“We have had fantastic support for our beer from the local community and the many visitors to the area. But in the last few months we have had a big increase in the number of people contacting the brewery wondering where they can get our beer once they have gone back home to Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne,” Rogers said.

Stone & Wood’s brewing philosophy is to brew beer that makes the most of the ingredients available today and let the flavours and aromas of the ingredients shine through by keeping the processes to a minimum.

“We think that most people drink beer for refreshment, particularly in our neck of the woods,” Rogers said. “We want to brew beer that is both refreshing and full of flavour, but at the same time has subtlety and complexity.”
