Stone & Wood has confirmed that it will be making its popular Pacific Ale available in cans, following a limited release of the canned beer last month.

The limited release was launched to commemorate the beer’s tenth anniversary, and Head Brewer Caolan Vaughn said the move into cans has come after repeated consumer requests.

“From when we first released the original Pacific Ale, our customers and our drinkers have begged us to put it in a can. Up until now, our focus has been on making enough of the stuff, so we’re pumped to be able to finally put it in cans ongoing,” Vaughn said.

“As the arvo breeze kicks in (hopefully), you can’t go past fresh locally caught seafood and something like a simple mango and chilli salad, washed down with a couple of cold Pacific Ales,” he said.

Pacific Ale in cans will be released nationally from 22 January.
