Purveyor of off-beat mixers, Strangelove Vitamin Co has rebranded and extended its range of organic soft drinks.

With its ginger beer already available over bars and in bottleshops around the country, the company has launched three other varieties to bring the total range to four. Stepping away from traditional flavours the new soft drinks also bear striking labels that reflect the brand’s determination to be different.

According to co-founder Stafford Fox the concept for the brand was developed a few years ago under the belief that consumers want something more adventurous than lemonade.

“We wanted to step away from traditional soft drinks and mixers and create a range with bold flavours that were not only bar and cafe friendly but also packed full of the best organic fruits, plants and spices,” he says. “We’re here to shake things up and offer a premium alternative to the usual suspects.”

The new flavours include: Bitter Grapefruit (50 per cent organic juice with piths and peels added for extra flavour and colour); Blood Orange & Chilli (39 per cent organic juice and a touch of cayenne pepper); and Smoked Cola (an old style recipe that is a little smoky, not overly sweet and contains Madagascan bourbon vanilla, citrus oils, cardamom, cassia, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon); alongside the original Ginger Beer, which contains two types of ginger, green tea, yerba mate and cinnamon for extra kick.
