The ‘original beer of Mexico’ is again bringing its party sombrero down under, with a new series of exclusive pop-up parties to ride the Mexican wave of popularity.

Authentic Mexican beer Sol is running its ‘Sol Summer of Six’ parties for the second time this summer, beginning at the newly refurbished Watsons Bay Hotel this Sunday.

Celebrities and models will adorn the red carpets, joining entertainment including Californian rapper Mickey Avalon for tacos and Mexican treats at the iconic South Head destination.

Last year saw a string of secret parties held at unlikely locations such as pirate ships, catamarans, rooftops and in aquariums as Sol seeks to celebrate the Hispanic flavour and current market success of Mexican food and beverages.

This year promises to be even bigger, with Sol hinting of even more parties over coming months.

Sol is one of Mexico’s top-telling beers, brewed since 1899 and sold in over 50 countries.
