The Suntory Cup cocktail competition is looking for this year’s best new cocktail recipe and will send its creator on a European bar and distillery trip, with $1000 spending money.
The competition is in its 21st year and involves selected Club Suntory members casting their votes unaware of who has created each drink.
2008 Suntory Cup winner Misty Hoeta said she enjoyed being part of the competition and encouraged the industry to enter.
“I am really proud to have been involved with such an amazing competition, I loved how everyone worked so well together and the support from everyone was just something else," she said.
"I want everyone I know to be a part of the Suntory Cup it is a competition not judged on who you are and who you know, it is the fairest competition I have ever had the pleasure of being part of."
To enter submit your recipe online between July 15 and August 31.
