Suntory Australia has just added a new liqueur to its extensive range, Pavan, a premium liqueur hailing from the south of France.

The delicate and complex liqueur is made using Muscat grapes, from the seaside Frontignan region in France, as well as orange blossom flowers.

To introduce the new liqueur to the trade, Suntory Australia recently held exclusive tasting sessions for local bartenders at Brisbane’s Aquitaine Restaurant & Bar, Sydney’s Ananas Brasserie and Melbourne’s Mon Bijou.

At the chic aperitif style affair, guests got a chance to try the new liqueur and learnt more about its origin and production methods through presentations from Club Suntory ambassadors. Guests were also treated to French and Mediterranean-inspired canapés, complemented with aperitif-style cocktails.

Several local bartenders also collaborated with Suntory Australia to create signature Pavan cocktails that were featured throughout the celebration and will be available ongoing at their venues.

“I’m delighted with the success of the events, celebrating the quintessential occasion and Mediterranean ritual of aperitif with key bartenders in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, combining an element of the brand’s origins and showcasing the versatility of the liqueur,” said Pavan brand manager, Matt Barnett.
