Suntory Australia has announced they will be the new Australian distributors of the Spanish liqueur, Licor 43.
From February 1, they will take over the exclusive Australian distribution rights from Broadway Liquor, who have managed the brand since 1998.
Produced and bottled in Spain, Licor 43 is a premium liqueur whose name is derived from the 43 ingredients from which it is made, including herbs and citrus fruits.
Licor 43 brand manager Jeremy Church said it was a fantastic acquisition for Suntory.
“We are delighted to introduce Licor 43 into the Suntory portfolio,” he said. “We look forward to offering our customers this unique and versatile product.”
Licor 43 will join the existing Suntory Portfolio, which includes Frangelico, Jagermeister and the recently acquired Hendrick’s gin.
