Suntory is holding its 2008 Cuervo Cup at Sydney’s Luna Park to celebrate Cuervo Tequila tomorrow.

The event is in its second year and will feature live-entertainment by The Potbelleez and Stafford Bros.

Guests have been asked to dress up in one of three themes — Mexican, beach look or Dodgeball (the movie) with prizes for best dressed.

Cuervo brand manager, Fred Duarte, said the event ties in with the CuervoNation summer campaign conducted on and off-premise.

“This event is a reward for NSW Cuervo first pour customers who have driven growth of the brand during the summer period,” he said.

The Victorian and Western Australian Cuervo parties held last week proved popular, with the Brisbane and Adelaide events scheduled for April 28 and 29.

Close to 1000 predominately trade members and some consumer winners will attend the Sydney function, with a Cuervo Cup Dodgeball Challenge part of the night’s festivities.
