Club Suntory will be hosting a series of master classes throughout July and August in preparation for the upcoming Suntory Cup Cocktail Competition.

They include ‘How to invent a winning drink’, at which participants will deconstruct popular classic and modern cocktails to learn the mechanics behind creating a winning cocktail.

The next master class will be held at The Mean Fiddler in Rouse Hill on July 28 and will cover the history and evolution of cocktails, some flavour combinations as well as garnishes and presentation.

Now in its 20th year, the Suntory Cup Cocktail Competition is looking for the best new cocktail recipe for 2008 and will send the winner on a European bar and distillery adventure with $1000 spending money.
