The duo behind Sydney's acclaimed Baxter Inn and Shady Pines Saloon hope to open their next venue within the next couple of months.
Anton Forte and Jason Scott's Baxter Inn won the Australian Liquor Industry Awards for Best Bar and Best New Venue on Wednesday, capping off a few weeks that has also seen the bar named among the world's best.
"We've had a good lucky run in the last couple of weeks, that's for sure," Scott told TheShout.
"We can't top this year."
Scott said their new Hunter Street CBD venue, Frankie's Pizza, will be open within a month or two.
It will be a 400-person capacity venue with a pizzeria out front and a bar out the back.
The Baxter Inn is also nominated for New Bar, People's Choice and Venue of the Year at the Time Out Sydney Bar Awards to be announced on Sunday.
