More than 50 bars have joined Parched March, Sydney's month-long hospitality industry fundraiser for animal charities.

In its third year, Parched March is back with an exciting calendar of activity including weekly ‘Pets in Pubs’ gatherings, networking nights, master classes and bar tours.

Bar goers can raise funds by getting sponsored for visiting as many participating bars as possible throughout March. The bars will also be asked to create a signature Parched March cocktail and donate a percentage of the sales.

So far more than 50 bars have signed up, including the Gazebo Wine Garden, The Winery, The Norfolk, LL Wine & Dine, Cargo, Hugo’s, Grandma’s and Small Bar.

“Parched March is hitting its third year at one of the most exciting moments in Sydney’s bar history, with a wave of ground-breaking venues debuting and lots happening in established favourites too,” founder Amy Cooper said.

“I can’t wait to get in amongst it, celebrate all this talent and shout to the world about Sydney’s amazing bar scene.”
