Sydney CBD venue Jackson’s on George will host a charity cocktail breakfast on October 1 to mark the beginning of Pink Month — an initiative designed to raise money for breast cancer research.

The ‘Petit Déjeuner’ event will run from 8-10am and will feature canapés, cocktails and Velvet Angel shoes, with all proceeds going to the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation (SBCF).

“The Petit Déjeuner will be a fabulous and fashionable morning in support of a great cause,” said J&J O’Brien Hoteliers Group marketing and PR executive, Tracy Golden.

“Jackson’s on George is commitment to causes such as the SBCF. It’s another example of our long standing tradition of fun and philanthropy — a tradition we will no doubt continue.”

The SBCF is dedicated to raising money for the research and treatment of breast cancer as well as providing support for individuals and their families faced with breast cancer.

Since 1995, it has raised nearly $3 million thanks to sponsors like J&J O’Brien.

Tickets to the ‘Petit Déjeuner’ are $40 and include a gift bag with goodies from sponsors Kosmea and Cedel.

In addition, throughout October J&J O’Brien will be offering a special ‘Pink Passion’ cocktail, with $2 from every sale to go directly to the SBCF.
