Sydney’s bar scene is continuing to grow, with the official opening of The Corner House in Bondi this Wednesday night (Mar 31).

Opening just a few weeks ago, The Corner House is the brainchild of Anthony Kaplan, who also opened Bondi’s The Shop & Wine Bar and Brent Mills, of New York City’s famed cocktail bar, Sweetwater Tavern.

Divided into four sections – The Kitchen, The Dining Room, The Living Room and The Lobby – each space is designed to provide guests with a different experience. The Kitchen, for example, offers casual dining in the form of wood-fired pizzas and antipasto, while the The Living Room offers a modern cocktail list including punches served in beakers.

The Corner House is also focused on supporting local artists, offering their wall space for exhibitions including photographer Toby Burrows.
